About Me

Aparna Nagarajan

Hi! My name is Aparna. I have a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 10 years of experience tutoring in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math).

As a tutor, my main focus is making sure the student fully understands the topic/concept rather than regurgitating facts just to pass a test or quiz. I also work with the student to create healthy study habits that both ensure retention of knowledge and stress balance.

I have experience tutoring K - College level courses. Working with people of all ages and backgrounds to understand problems is something I'm not only good at, but I enjoy doing. The look on a student's face when they understand a topic makes the extra work worth it.
